Who is The Vagabond Geek

Hi, I am Dave Holowiski, The Vagabond Geek. I live in Taber Alberta, and am excited to be able to provide technical support to all of my customers in Taber and the surrounding area. Right now The Vagabond Geek Inc. is a company of one – Me! I used to live in Calgary, where I spent 12 years at various levels (between entry level and team lead) on several computer help-desks, providing technical support to many different companies who’s names you would immediately be familiar with. I also spent two years at SMART Technologies Inc, supporting SMART Board Interactive Whiteboards.

Needless to say, I have a deep technical knowledge of computer hardware, and I’ve provided technical support to thousands of end-users on every version of Windows from 3.1 to Windows 7 (and even OS2). During my time in Calgary, I obtained an A+ (hardware and software) certification, which certifies me to repair IBM compatible computers, and I am also a SMART Certified Trainer, for SMART Notebook 10 for both Windows and Mac.
